You can spice up any dessert table at your wedding or even bridal shower with one of our favorite fall recipes. Not only are these spicy pumpkin treats incredibly easy to make, they also embody the smell and taste if fall! Enjoy!
Pumpkin Spice Cookie (with dark chocolate chips)
1 box spice cake mix
1 (15 ounce) can organic pumpkin puree
1 cup dark chocolate chips (you can also use chopped walnuts, pecans, or raisins)
1.) Preheat over to 350°F.
2.) Spray cookie sheets lightly with vegetable spray.
3.) In a large bowl, mix together cake mix and pumpkin with a fork or mixer until well blended. Then stir in dark chocolate chips, nuts or raisins, if desired.
4.) Drop medium rounded spoonfuls onto the cookie sheet.
TIP: Do not flatten, but keep in mind how they look on the sheet is pretty much how they’ll look after baking. I made mine with an ice cream scoop.
5.) Bake for 10-15 minutes, depending on the size of your cookies.
Yield 2-3 dozen depending on the size.
