Unique Cashgrab Video Booth Experience

Our Client, Derma-E, really wanted to create an energetic and highly shareable experience for their guests at the Ulta Beauty World Event Trade Show, hosted at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center.

We helped them create a unique Video Activation that was a twist on the classic Cash Grab experience. We swapped dollars for fun & festive coupons for swag products. They also wanted their guests to have a digital video takeaway — a fun slow motion video to post to their favorites socials.

Because we had a limited footprint for the activation and glare and reflections were a concern, we came up with a minimalist solution to capture video with an iPhone that instantly beamed videos to a nearby sharing station. We also used simple LED wands for optimal lighting.

Guests had a blast and so did we! We saw incredible engagement with this fun and simple experience — with many guests returning with friends. Some guests were posting and sharing their videos before even leaving for the next booth. And because of this fun experience, the client was able to create more meaningful interactions as they discussed the samples of their product.
